The chicken parm was a generoussss portion. The marinara was definitely just a commercial sauce but the chicken was really good!! One of the only late night restaurants open in CLT after 10pm so for late night I thought the food was amazing. :) would recommend for a late night spot

Absolutely, hands down, the best pizza I've every had. We stopped by to pickup dinner and someone was ready to immediately take our order. We ordered a large pizza and waited roughly 10-15mins. What was so impressive is that we walked back to our hotel, which took about 20mins and the pizza was still hot; even during a windy Carolina evening. We asked for extra cheese and that's exactly what we received. The sausage was finely chopped, perfectly flavored and with a little bit of spice. The sauce was exactly how I enjoy it, light and savory. I will definitely return when in town and highly recommend for any pizza liver!

Excellent experience. The pizza was baked perfectly, especially the honey pepper slice — truly outstanding. The wings were crisp, flavorful, and cooked just right. Highly recommend this place for great quality and taste.

Really cool little place, that's part slice joint, part bar. We went in during the evening and the bar was full. It's also dog friendly, which was pretty cool. They have some of the coolest pizza related stuff on the walls, so I really liked that. Pizza was good, NY style, a little on the thicker side (for NY style). We also got garlic knots, but there was some honey on there which I was not a fan of. But all in all, a great place for a beer and a slice!

Doordash Review. Pizzeria sapienza, in my opinion, is a wonderful place that's Mid-City to grab a slice of pizza. Close enough to be walking distance to all of the things downtown charlotte, but far enough away to where you won't be in too much of the inner city chaos. The staff here is nice. The place gives a old school diner mixed with a modern-day twists type of vibe. Loud music playing in the background gives it a club feel as well. I don't remember seeing any TVs on the wall for watching some sports while you eat but there may be some I don't know. One thing I'm a stickler for is good good portion food for your money. The size is here are pretty big and the prices are really decent. All in all I'd recommend coming here to get your eat on!
